Aktiviteti i parë i serisë edukative për mjedisin u zhvillua sot në ambientet e Recycal, ku rreth 50 fëmijë të moshës 6–14 vjeç nga kampi veror SMART Sport patën mundësinë të mësojnë nga afër për riciklimin dhe rëndësinë e qëndrueshmërisë.

Kjo vizitë edukative u mundësua nga Delegacioni i Bashkimit Evropian në Shqipëri dhe synon të rrisë ndërgjegjësimin e brezit të ri për mbrojtjen e mjedisit, përmes eksperiencave praktike dhe bashkëpunimit me nisma lokale.

Fëmijët vizituan një qendër unike riciklimi të ndërtuar nga e para me materiale të ricikluara si kashtë, baltë, dritare të përdorura, dru të hedhur dhe gurë lumi etj,.

Pas kësaj nisme qëndrojnë të rinj nga komuniteti, të cilët jo vetëm kanë ndërtuar qendrën dhe një dyqan të sendeve të dorës së dytë, por edhe po zbatojnë projekte konkrete që promovojnë riciklimin. Së shpejti, ata do të pajisen edhe me një makineri për riciklimin e qelqit, duke zgjeruar më tej ndikimin e kësaj nisme, të mundësuar nga projekti EU4 Circular Economy and Livable Cities (EU4CELC), një projekt bashkëfinancuar nga Bashkimi Evropian dhe BMZ.

Environmental Responsibility Workshops

The first activity of the educational series on environmental awareness took place today at Recycal, where around 50 children aged 6–14 from the SMART Sport summer camp had the opportunity to learn firsthand about recycling and the importance of sustainability.

This educational visit was made possible by the Delegation of the European Union to Albania and aims to raise awareness among the younger generation about environmental protection through hands-on experiences and collaboration with local initiatives.

The children visited a unique recycling center built entirely from recycled materials such as straw, clay, reused windows, discarded wood, and river stones.

Behind this initiative stand local youth who have not only built the center and a second-hand goods shop but are also implementing concrete projects that promote recycling. Soon, they will also be equipped with a glass recycling machine, further expanding the impact of this initiative supported by the EU4 Circular Economy and Livable Cities (EU4CELC) project – a project co-funded by the European Union and BMZ.
