RING IN THE CIRCLE
Players, boys and girls together or separately, sit on chairs or benches placed in a circle, while in the middle of the circle stands the leader of the game, who has a ring and a wrap *.
The leader passing the ring finger between the hands of the players in the circle from one to the other releases the ring in the hand of one of them, unnoticed by the others. Everyone should keep their hands closed.
To the leader’s question: “Who has the ring?” one of the players who thinks he knows who has it must answer. In this case, the manager will hit the hand of the player whose name was mentioned once with a wrap. But if the ring has not been taken by him or her, the player who responded will be hit with wrap in the palm of his hand until it is determined.
The game continues until one of the players finds out who got the ring. In this case the finder will take the place of the leader and the game continues with the new leader.
Note:
*wrap means a handkerchief or towel, which is tied to a knot on one side and used to strike with it in a children’s game; game with handkerchiefs, which are placed at the end of a stick embedded in the ground, which is protected by a belt one of the players so as not to take the other players.
