📣 A warm welcome to Mr. Glenn Micallef, Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport- at the MSE Follow-Up event of the i4EUFITMOS Erasmus+ project in Tirana, Albania on June 16, 2025.

With the support of #ErasmusPlus and the #i4EUFITMOS project, this visit marked a powerful moment of collaboration in advancing children’s health and physical fitness through innovation and evidence-based tools. 🧠💪

🌟 During his visit, Mr. Micallef also explored the ASSA Sports Science Museum, a one-of-a-kind archive featuring historical sports equipment from Albania since the 1930s, and the ASSA e-Library, home to rare books (since 1921) and Albanian sports periodicals (1935–1991).

🙏 Special thanks to Mr. Ilir Dojka for his lasting contributions of historical materials and equipment that enriched both the museum and the library collections.

🏠 Hosted by ASSA – Shoqata Shqiptare e Shkencave Sportive, the event brought together PE teachers, sport coaches, researchers, and policymakers to explore digital solutions for fitness monitoring in schools.
